Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe

There was an old woman who lived in a shoe

She had so many children,

She didn't know what to do.

She gave them some broth

With plenty of bread.

She kissed them all sweetly

And put them to bed.

And another version....

There was an old woman who lived in a shoe,

She had so many children

She didn't know what to do.

She gave them some broth

With a slice of brown bread.

Then read them a story

And sent them to bed.

And yet one more version.....(my least favorite)..

There was an old woman who lived in a shoe

She had so many children

She didn't know what to do.

She gave them some broth

Without any bread,

Then whipped them all soundly

And put them to bed.
