This Little Boy is Ready for Bed


This little boy is ready for bed,

On the pillow he lays his head,

Wrap the covers around him tight,

And that's the way he spends the night.





Morning comes

He opens his eyes,

And off, with a toss,

The cover flies.

I used to do the actions with my hands with slightly different words - but maybe children don't know what a blanket is nowadays lol!

This little boy is ready for bed
On his soft pillow he lays his sweet head
Wraps himself up in his blanket tight
Closes his eyes and says "goodnight".

Morning comes he opens his eyes
Back with a toss his blanket flies
