Sly Old Mr. Fox

My chickens are protected

With chains and locks,

To try to keep out

Sly old Mr. Fox.

Oh he'll try

But will not prevail,

That cunning thief,

With the bushy red tail.

He obviously eats well

He looks no thinner,

But tonight there'll be

No chicken dinner!

I know he can't live

On eating grubs,

With a wife to feed

And hungry cubs.

But maybe he should

Try something new,

Maybe a rabbit

Yes, rabbit stew!

So Mr. Fox,

Please just go home,

And leave my

Poor chickens alone!

Don't make me

Have to go for my gun,

And spary shotgun pellets

Up your bum!
